More is on the line for Josh than just a trophy. Winning would mean everything to his dad--now Josh's coach. Winning could mean a major endorsement deal for the Titans and the attention of big league scouts!

After a dirty play and a brutal injury threaten to sideline Josh, he spies suspicious activity at the tournament. He tries to tell his good friend Jaden about what he's seen, but she's too busy spending time with the L.A. Comets' star player, Mickey Mullen Jr., to want to get involved. Jaden says she's doing research for the newspaper . . . but is she? Now Josh has a rival--both on the field and off--as he swings for the fences in a game that quickly becomes more dangerous.

New York Times bestselling author Tim Green delivers a hard-hitting look at what some teams will do to win in this gripping companion to Baseball Great.

Alexander Hamilton : A Life (9780060954666)

Alexander Hamilton : A Life (9780060954666)

From his less than auspicious start in 1755 on the Caribbean Island of Nevis to his untimely death in a duel with his old enemy Aaron Burr in 1804, Alexander Hamilton, despite his short life, left a huge legacy.

Orphaned at thirteen and apprenticed in a counting house, Hamilton learned principles of business that helped him create the American financial system and invent the modern corporation. But first the staunch, intrepid Hamilton served in the American Revolution, acting as General Washington's spymaster. Forging a successful legal career, Hamilton coauthored the Federalist Papers and plunged into politics. Irresistibly attractive, he was a man of many gifts, but he could be arrogant and at times a poor judge of character.

In this meticulously researched, illuminating, and lively account, Willard Sterne Randall explores Hamilton's life--his illegitimate birth, little-known military activities, political and diplomatic intrigues, and scandalous affairs--and its indelible impact on modern America.

Ten Years in an Open Necked Shirt (9780099583769)

`Yes, it was be there or be square as, clad in the slum chic of the hipster, he issued the slang anthems of the zip age in the desperate esperanto of the bop. John Cooper Clarke: the name behind the hairstyle, the words walk in the grooves hacking through the hi-fi paradise of true luxury'

Punk. Poet. Pioneer. The Bard of Salford's seminal collection is as scabrous, wry & vivid now as it was when first published over 25 years ago.
